  AES Helpline

You can help us!

The AES Helpline provides a way for employees, suppliers, customers, or anyone to ask a question, make a comment, seek advice, or raise a concern about AES’ business practices or the legal and ethical conduct of AES, AES people, or others associated with us. You can contact the AES Helpline confidentially by telephone or through the Internet, and we speak your language: The AES Helpline is available in twelve languages.

You can also help by refusing to stand quietly by if you feel our Values are being compromised. Take a look at our Code of Conduct. If you hear or see anything that you are uncomfortable with, please contact the AES Helpline. If you are in doubt about what actions you should take or about a decision you are making, the AES Helpline is an excellent way to get advice.

If you have a customer complaint or inquiry, please contact your local customer service office.

The AES Helpline is confidential and safe

You can contact the AES Helpline confidentially. We never track the identity of visitors to the AES Helpline website, and we never use any recording or tracing devices when you call the AES Helpline by telephone. In fact, the AES Helpline is operated by an independent third-party provider, so you can be confident that your contact will be handled in confidence and delivered to appropriate AES personnel.

Operating our business in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner is important to everyone at AES. AES will never reprimand or penalize anyone for making a responsible report to the AES Helpline, AES Ethics and Compliance personnel, or AES management regarding potential breaches of AES’ Values, potential violations of applicable laws, or other unethical behavior.

It’s easy

You can contact the AES Helpline by telephone or through the AES Helpline website, www.aeshelpline.com.

If you telephone the AES Helpline, you will speak with an independent specialist who will listen to your concern. The specialist, who is employed by an independent third-party expert in helpline issues, may ask you some questions to ensure that we have all the information we need to respond.

If you prefer to contact the AES Helpline through the website, you will find a simple form to fill out.  The AES Helpline website is also operated by the independent, third-party provider.

When you are finished with the report, you will be given a report number and a personal identification number (PIN). You can use your PIN to check the status of your report or provide additional information.
