Alexina Jackson is the Vice President of Strategic Development for The AES Corporation. Alexina is a dynamic creator of solutions and the diverse roles that she has held at AES’ headquarters reflects that. She currently holds a leadership role in AES’ innovation business, New Energy Technologies, and is heading the organization’s efforts to catalyze a digitally enabled and flexible electrical grid with near-term focus on adoption of new technologies, processes, and regulations. Alexina previously led AES’ customer-focused innovation efforts, championing energy products throughout AES’ footprint, and governance of AES' transformative innovation within AES Next. In her first several years at AES, Alexina was an attorney negotiating key technology-related collaborations, partnerships, and joint-ventures and the head of AES’ internal investigations practice. Before joining AES, Alexina worked as an attorney in DC “big law” and prior to that as a strategy consultant in the United States, Brazil, Spain and France.
