AES México partnered with a local university to implement EnerLab, a social energy challenge that tasked students to solve a problem in our communities using renewable energy solutions. The program merges theoretical-practical training for college students to design, build, and implement a solution in the community. In the first edition, over 30 students participated in the training to provide reliable electrical power to a rural school in Tamaulipas, México through the development of a small-scale windmill paired with energy storage.
